FDS Increase its number of Service Contracts

The good name, quality of work and customer care that FDS offer has resulted in Month on Month increase in the number of service contracts being quoted and contracted to FDS.

The requirement of our clients to look at complete fire protection system service, maintenance and testing has also grown and has also given these clients a more cost effective service and a reduction in their overall cost.

FDS nationwide coverage and thorough scheduled service has proven to reduce the number of call-outs.

We operate a personal telephone support and technical backup service and in the unlikely event that a problem cannot be resolved over the phone we have a 24hour call out service.

Our engineers carry a comprehensive range of spares and equipment for immediate on-site repair, where possible.

Fire Defence Servicing, directly employed engineers are trained to the exacting standards of our quality policy and operate to British Standard EN12845 and Loss Prevention Council Technical Bulletin TB6 ‘Care and Maintenance of Automatic Sprinkler Systems’ along with the Factory Mutual and NFPA standards.

Within the contract we often train the client to carry out weekly testing of the system to minimise visits and therefore reduce call outs and the overall cost.
