The fundamental aspect of fire safety in buildings is the specification and installation of emergency and fire sprinkler systems. It has long been recognised that the performance of these systems can be severely undermined by poor installation and/or servicing or maintenance, potentially leading to system failure in the event of a fire.
We offer nationwide coverage and always carry out a thorough scheduled service which in turn reduces the number of Call Outs. We also operate a personal telephone support and technical backup and in the unlikely event a problem cannot be resolved over the phone we have a 24 hour call out service, our service engineer’s carry a comprehensive range of spares and equipment for immediate on-site repair, where possible.
Fire Defence Servicing, directly employed engineers are trained to the Relevant Standards and of our Firas Third Party Certification and our quality policy that operates to British Standard, Loss Prevention Council (LPC), Factory Mutual and NFPA standards. Fire Defence Servicing are also SAFEcontractor, CSCS – Gold Standard and SMSTS accredited with our engineers having completed the confined space training, this ensures that all Fire Defence employees are committed to health and safety on site. Within the contract we often train the client themselves to carry out the weekly testing of the system to minimise visits and therefore reduce call outs and the overall cost.
