FDS are working at Exeter Airport again
Back in 2012 FDS were employed to carry out the sprinkler protection to the Academy Fire Behaviour School and in 2015 were back again
This is a new building of steel construction built for Devon & Somerset, Fire & Rescue, training centre as an appliance bay. This building can be used by 3 appliances for training & to be safely parked up, under cover in front of the main training centre when not in use.
A new underground supply was brought in from the existing hydrant main, we installed a wet system consisting of an 80mm valve set, flow test meter and sprinkler array at high level.
Commercial installation to BS EN 12845
FDS directly employed engineers were on site for 2 weeks from start to finish and even carried out the trace heating and lagging in order to keep the project within the clients budget. We were the first trade in and out so over all a happy client.
