Further to an independent Risk Assessment there were several failings identified within the surgery. This system was being maintained by another company who had not identified or reported these failings.
Fire Defence Servicing Ltd was asked to attend site and carry out a site survey to confirm the shortfalls identified in the report.
To minimise the disruption to the surgery and patience work was carried out over the weekend. The system has now been upgraded to meet the latest standards, requirements of the Risk Assessment and the client’s needs.
The Fire Alarm Panel itself was mounted at an inaccessible height which we have relocated at a height that staff can see and operate without the need of steps.
