Fire Defence Servicing is on the lookout for a motivated trainee to join our expanding team.
At FDS, we specialise in the installation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems across residential, commercial and retail properties. While we’re based in North Devon, our projects span the South, South West and South Wales, and we also work nationwide. If you’re a local candidate, transportation will not be an issue as we can provide collection for travel to site.
Job Description:
Trainee Sprinkler Engineer to work alongside and be trained by an experienced Sprinkler Engineer. This role will involve manual handling, working at heights, assisting in the installation of pipework, and fabricating pipework and bracketry.
Training and development will be provided.
The initial hourly rate will correspond with the candidate’s experience and career progression is available. Competitive rates will be paid on progression.
Who we are looking for
- This role is perfect for a school/college leaver – minimum age 18.
- You must be reliable, trustworthy, and, most importantly, have a can-do attitude.
Requirements
- CSCS card (we can arrange this if you do not have one)
- Driving Licence
Hours
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Monday – Friday on-site, 8-hour shifts (with the opportunity for overtime during busier times)
